Twitter Launches Twitter Music App for iOS and Web - Complete Details

Good Morning America recently tweeted that Twitter will make a big announcement today. So finally Twitter has announced its new web and iOS app called"Twitter #music".About the hashtag in Twitter music,Officials from Twitter said:

Hashtag uses Twitter activity,including tweets and engagement,to detect and surface the most popular tracks of and emerging artists.

The app is available for free of charge. You can follow your favorite musicians and singers on Twitter Music. To access Twitter music,you don't have to create another account. You will have to login with your Twitter account to access Twitter Music.

Officials from Twitter has further said that,music in Twitter music comes from Spotify, iTunes and Rdio.Remember that Twitter #music is a free music discovery service from where you can find your favorite music of your favorite artist but it's not a free music streaming service.

To play songs you will need subscriptions from Spotify and Rdio although like in iTunes you can have a preview of a song. Another official statement came from Twitter said,Twitter #music will soon be available for Android.

There are 4 tabs in the app. These are popular,emerging,suggested and #nowplaying. See the picture below:

Moreover if you are following a musician or any singer on Twitter #music,by tapping on his account you can view his most popular songs and a link that will take you to their Twitter profiles. You can also see which artists are following your favorite singer(s).
