Pakistan djuice has tried their luck after launching an out dated
android smartphone. Yes,they have launch the Alcatel 990 which runs on
froyo 2.2 which cannot be further upgradeable to android's version.
The smartphone was released by Alcatel last year in the month of February.
Inside the Phone:
Alcatel 990 comes with a 3.5 inch TFT touchscreen with a resolution of
320x480 pixels(165 ppi) with a optical trackpad.5 megapixel camera
lets you capture special moment with a single touch. LED Flash helps
you to snap good pictures even in the low light. A front facing VGA
camera allows you to do video calling over wifi or using your
operator's connection. The Alcatel 990 supports wifi and bluetooth.
Though the bluetooth technology inside is old(version 2.1). Inside the
phone a 600Mhz processor is installed which is supported by internal
memory of 150mb. The memory can be expand by using a micro sd card
upto 32gb. Djuice with this phone gives a 2gb sd card which comes in
shipping. The smartphone also has accelerometer and a gravity sensor
with digital compass support. GPS enables you find restaurants and
your desireable places near you so you will never have to remember
those difficult directions.
PRICE:
Priced at PKR 14,999 – djuice will offer free unlimited internet for
three months for those who will use djuice SIM with this phone.

*Alcatel 990 is not available in all the cities of Pakistan. The
smartphone is available at selected Telenor's customer care centre in
specific cities.
*Phone is network locked so only Telenor customers can only use this.
*Phone can be unlocked but after unlocking warranty will automatically end.
*Free internet offer is only for first djuice sim inserted in the device.
